The New EmmaFrostFiles.com

Sunday, July 20th, 2008

Hey there, everyone!
Thanks for patiently waiting this site’s longest downtime of…2 months I believe! I was totally busy moving, and then updating all the files to the new site! I’m proud to announce the fresh, new look for EmmaFrostFiles.com, which was designed by the talented designer Jenna @ growldesign.co.uk! I also couldn’t have done this without, of course, my cash, remixedracing.com, psdgator.com, deanjrobinson.com, who helpfully coded the dynamic tabs you see at the top, and wordpress.org‘s amazing blog/content management system.

Among the site’s brand new look, the old news articles have not been lost. If you’re still looking for old Emma news, then be sure to check out the very old archive here. Thankfully, I was able to keep up with Emma’s media attention by adding news items as I continued to update the site. So, yes, you’ll see several news articles here you probably haven’t seen at the older site. You’ll also see there is an easy comment system for each news item…yay…if you plan on commenting, that is. ;)

Update all your links and bookmarks – the entire gallery has been moved into a different coding system and link structure. Not only the gallery, but I’ve rewritten Emma’s entire biography section from Marvel Universe’s to the simplest things such as video games. What you see at the waaay top of the page with those boxy images is a module showing the latest images added to the gallery. Click on those images and it will show you its full size version, as well as description text. And as you browse through the site, you’ll find other little updates and cool things as well.

Unfortunately, the site looks like crap on Internet Explorer 6. But Internet Explorer 6 is basically useless anyway? Sorry, but I’ve decided to move forward and forget about IE6 compatibility. Anyways, the site looks gorgeous on all modern browsers (although, I suggest FireFox). So, check everything out, keep visiting the site, always read comics, and tell me what you think.

Your caring content manager,
Aimee
