January Jones as Emma Frost in new stills, Allure photo shoot

January Jones looks fab as Emma Frost in these freshly released stills from iMDB, but they were quickly taken down. Luckily, Comic Book Movie saved them and posted it on their site.

January Jones is featured in an “Allure” photo shoot and wears some very Frost-like clothing:

Jones’s latest work demand was filming X-Men: First Class, a prequel to the other X-Men films. She plays Emma Frost, a mutant villain whose superpowers include telepathy and the ability to assume the unassailable form of a diamond. “I was coming off two dramatic movies and then another season of Mad Men, and I was ready to do something a little bit more fun.” Here, Jones is shown playing with her Yorkiepoo, Max.

“I balked at the idea of doing a ’60s-era movie at first. I never thought that that was a possibility, to be typecast in a period of time, not just as the character. My power is I’m telepathic, and my skin turns into diamonds, so no one can hurt me. So when you’re shooting a scene, someone’s like, ‘OK, you’re a diamond now.’ So I am trying to visualize myself in diamond form. Most of my scenes were with Kevin. He’s lovely—a cool human being. We had so much fun.”
